For those seeking to let their imaginations run wild, Buzzards Play Productions is presenting an Improv Workshop this summer.

In improv, participants are given a phrase or situation to act out and go wherever their imagination takes them. To round out the session, there will be theatre games, movement, breathing exercises and songs depending on the number of participants.

Each session will be facilitated by Deanna Lohnes in the Buzzards Play theatre at 3065 Cranberry Highway, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. onthe following Tuesdays: July 14, July 28, Aug. 11, and Aug. 25. Those interested can join for as many nights as they choose. All sessions are free. Both inexperienced people and experienced actors/comedians are welcome.

Lohnes started in theatre at Priscilla Beach Theatre in Plymouth at five years old. She has a bachelor's degree in theatre from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. After many years in Boston, Lohnes has come back to live theatre in the Plymouth area. Most recently, Lohnes was stage manager for "Nunsense" at the Plymouth Community Theatre. Over the years she has acted, directed and worked backstage for countless shows in the Berkshires, Boston, Cape Cod and Plymouth.
