Lee Anne Pires, 62, of Onset passed away on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Boston Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Providence, the daughter of Lydia (Monteiro) Pires of West Wareham and the late Sidney Pires.

She is survived by her children; Theodore Lopes, Tara Pires and Paris Pires all of Wareham. She was the grandmother of Taysia Lopes and the late Adrian Martin. She was the sister of Lynn Lopes, Brian Pires, Barry Pires, Lydia Lightford, Roberta Pires, Sidney “Peachey” Pires, Paul Pires, Darrell Pires, Viola Pina, Jeffrey Alves and Donna Gomes. She was the sister of the late Christopher and Patrick Pires. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

A Graveside committal service will be held on Friday Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Tihonet Road in Wareham.
