Learn to quahog with the Buzzards Bay Coalition
Sep 1, 2015
The Buzzards Bay Coalition will be teaching the time-honored tradition of quahogging at Burgess Point in Onset on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Coalition members will be teaching the basics of local quahogging — what you need, how to do it, and where to go.
Anyone interested in learning how to harvest your own quahogs can attend the free event, which the Coalition bills as, "a fun and educational event for the whole family."
The event takes place from 1-3 p.m. on Sept. 12 and registration is required. To RSVP, email bayadventures@savebuzzardsbay.org or call (508) 999-6363 ext. 219.
