Buzzards Play Productions will begin its Fall/Winter Improvisational Workshop starting Sept. 22.

In improvisation acting, participants are given a phrase or situation to act out and may go where their imagination takes them. There will also be theater games, movement and breathing exercises, and songs, depending on the number of participants. Both experienced and novice actors and actresses are welcome.

Deanna Lohnes will lead each session, which will take place at the theater at 3065 Cranberry Hwy. from 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. All sessions are free, and participants may attend as many or as few sessions as they would like. Classes will run through November, with a break for the holidays, and resume in January.

The session dates are as follows:

• Tuesday, Sept. 22 – 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 13 – 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 27 – 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Nov. 10 – 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Jan. 12 – 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Jan. 26 – 7:30 p.m.
