Wareham High School announces its annual Inspirational Teacher/Staff Awards
Wareham High School has announced its picks for the 2nd annual Inspirational Teacher/Staff Awards.
This years' recipients of the award are:
Jennine Alexander – Alexander has been a special education para-professional of Wareham High School for more than 20 years. Alexander is a member of the Wareham Sports Booster Club and runs the door for all sports at the Wareham High School Gymnasium. The school said many see her as a mother figure.
Rene Nascimento – Nascimento is the Head Custodian of Wareham High School. Colleagues Richard Cleveland and Gary MacNeil describe Rene as "not a paper pusher." They said he likes to get his hands dirty and works just as hard and sometimes harder as the other janitors.
Colleen Kirby – Kirby has been Wareham High School teacher for the last 30 years, teaching both English as a Second Language and French courses. Administrators said they see her as professionally responsible, having a good work ethic, punctual and loyal.
Teachers are picked for admiration by their colleagues, proficient work enthusiasm, professional endurance, and how well they work with the students.
