Grumpy’s Cranberry Harvest 5K Run/Walk will take place on Nov. 7 at A.D. Makepeace, 158 Tihonet Road. The event honors Robert “Grumpy” Conway, a longtime A.D. Makepeace Company employee passed away in 2010. Proceeds will benefit the Cranberry Educational Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.

Grumpy’s 5K is also searching for sponsors. Sponsors who sign up before Oct. 1 will have their names displayed on a banner hung at Grumpy’s 5K booth during the annual Cranberry Harvest Festival on Oct. 10 and 11. Sponsorships from Oct. 1 to 23 will have sponsor names on the runners’ T-shirts.
