High School Key Club collects money to battle maternal and neonatal tetanus

Sep 28, 2015

The Wareham High School Key Club recently began its annual Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF drive.

Key Club members are collecting spare change from those willing to donate to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. According to UNICEF, just $1.80 can protect a woman and her future newborn from this painful disease, and nearly 100 million women in more than 20 countries need help.

This year's goal is to beat last year's total by raising over $200. The drive ends on Nov. 1.
