James A. Cline, 89
James A. Cline, 89, of Onset, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at his home in Onset. He was the husband of Jacqueline L. Cline.
Born in Pigeon Falls, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Nancy (Loomis) and Bert Cline. A longtime resident of Alaska, Mr. Cline was a truck driver for 50 years and owned a gravel business in Glennallen, Alaska. He retired in 1994 and moved back to Wisconsin. He moved to Onset three years ago.
Mr. Cline served in the U.S. Army during the second World War and in the Korean War from 1950 to 1951.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline; his son Brian Cline and his wife Darlene, of Puyallup, Washington; his daughter Barbara Glessing and her husband Don, of Hayward, Wisconsin; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son and daughter in-law, the late Basil and Linda Cline.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Community of Christ Onset Chapel at 10 a.m.
