Lisa M. Tomkinson, 37, of Wareham died Feb. 1 in St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford. She was the daughter of the late David Carlson and Jane T. (Walsh) Tomkinson and the step daughter of the late Richard P. Tomkinson.

She was born in Wareham and lived there for most of her life.

Lisa graduated from Upper Cape Regional Technical High School in Bourne. She worked as a dental assistant in Hyannis.

She enjoyed being a mother and loved her family. She was a talented photographer and enjoyed taking photographs.

Survivors include her children, Markiese Tomkinson, Kiara Tomkinson, Dominic Mello and Diego Mello all of Wareham; her sisters, Shannon Dixon of Wareham and Christal Sadatis of Hyde Park; the father of her youngest children, Domingo Mello of Wareham; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by the father of her oldest children, Leroy D. Russell, Jr.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
