Rita L. Blair, 83, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Wareham, passed away Wednesday, May 11 at Fairacres Manor in Greeley, Colorado. She was born Dec. 26, 1932 in Wareham, the daughter of the late Louis and Eva (Trocchi) Galavotti. She was a figure skating instructor and a communicant of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Blair of Los Angeles, her granddaughter Kristin of Los Angeles and her brother Edward Galavotti of Cheyenne. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews relatives and friends. She was the sister of the late Sandra Montana.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Tihonet Road Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center St., Wareham.
