Ryan P. Aponte, 24, of Wareham, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Wareham unexpectedly.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Steven L. Fernandes of Wareham and Jerrie Lynn Aponte of Tampa, FL.

In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his siblings, Ebony Fernandes of Wareham, Sean Aponte of TX and Ivan Parker of Tampa, FL; his grandparents, Irma Fernandes of Wareham, Jesse Gino Fernandes of Providence, RI and Edward Daluz of Wareham; his nephew, Xavier Roldan of Wareham; his niece, Reagan Aponte of FL; his aunts and uncles, Gino Fernandes, Marlene Gomes, Eugene Fernandes, Darlene Fernandes, Doreen Fernandes, Derek Paris and Sheila Paris; his cousin and best friend, Christian Fernandes; his girlfriend, Jerrica Shealey of FL; and several other cousins.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave., Wareham at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Monday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 – 8 PM.
