Summer reading starts June 21
Jun 20, 2016
The Wareham Free Library’s summer reading program starts June 21 and ends Aug. 11.
This year, the overall theme is “Summer Reading and Healthy Eating.”
Pick up a schedule at the library’s main branch at 59 Marion Road or at Spinney Library in Onset.
Children should pick up their reading logs as soon as possible and read for twenty minutes a day, log it, bring it to the library every week and be entered in a grand prize raffle for Fitbits. Prizes will be awarded to preschool, school aged, and adults.
The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by TJX Company, A.D. Makepeace, Wareham Cultural Council and the Wareham Public Schools Food Service Program and Office of Beyond School Time.
