Wareham police and EMTs responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Tihonet Road and Cranberry Highway Wednesday morning.

According to initial emergency broadcasts, two people were hurt, suffering injuries to the face and neck. The accident occurred at approximately 7:10 a.m. First responders could be seen taking one victim away on a stretcher. It appeared that one vehicle struck the rear of a car, causing significant damage.
