Adam K. McElligott, 41, of Onset, died July 20 in Tobey Hospital after a short illness while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lachine, Quebec, Canada and lived in Onset for many years.

Adam enjoyed the ocean, whale watching, concerts and eating out.

He was also so loved by the caring staff at the Onset house.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Kathleen M. (Williams) Regan and Paul Regan of New Boston, New Hampshire; his father and stepmother, Herbert McElligott and Susan McElligott of Port Orange, Florida; a brother, Justin McElligott and his wife Leanne of Easton; a sister, Julie McElligott of New Bedford; his grandmother, Annie McElligott of Canada; an aunt and uncle, several cousins, nephews and nieces. He was the grandson of the late John and Terese M. Yagman and Sonny McElligott.

His memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on July 23 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
