A fire that started in a dryer caused an estimated $2,000 to $3,000 worth of damage to a home located at 3 Fourteenth Avenue in Wareham on Sunday.

Wareham Fire Department responded to the blaze in the single-story home just before 3:30 p.m., according to a department press release. Neither of the home's two occupants were injured.

Fourteen firefighters responded to the scene. The fire was out just before 4:30 p.m.
