Wareham Police arrest five on outstanding warrants
Five people were arrested on Aug. 24 for outstanding warrants issued for criminal offenses and failing to appear in court.
Officers, detectives of the Wareham Police Department, along with members of the Massachusetts State Police and parole officers found and arrested the five people, three of whom were at the Rosewood Motel on Cranberry Highway.
Robert Murphy, 67, was found in Room 28 and arrested for six outstanding felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants issued by Malden and Somerville District Courts.
Dawn Curry, 31, of 36 Adrena Ave., Hyannis was arrested for one outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant issued by Wareham District Court.
Reva Cowette, 28, of 11 Savory Pond Road, Plymouth was arrested for one outstanding default warrant issued by Haverhill District Court.
Joseph Donovan, 51, and Michael Medeiros, 39, were found and arrested in West Wareham.
Donovan, of Apt. 2 at 39 Depot St., Wareham, was arrested for one default warrant (misdemeanor) issued by Wareham District Court.
Michael Medeiros, of Bluebird Ave. Wareham was arrested with one warrant – a probation violation issued by Wareham District Court.
The arrested individuals were transported to Wareham District Court for arraignment.
