David C. Dias, 57, of Onset died Aug. 29 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Plymouth.

Born in Lakeville, he was the son of Albert Dias of Falmouth and the late Julie Dias. A graduate of Apponequet High School in Lakeville, David was a self employed carpenter for many years. He was a resident of Onset for 30 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Rubenstein and her husband Scott of Hampton, New Hampshire; his father and step-mother, Albert and Jane Dias of Falmouth; his brothers and sisters, Diane Griffith of Plymouth, Darryll Dias of Boston, Debbie Dias of Onset and Doug Dias of Lakeville; his granddaughter, Julianna Rubenstein and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sept. 11 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham from 2 to 4 p.m.
