Elizabeth M. (Cristello) Stephens, 89, of Onset, formerly of Watertown, died Sept. 4, 2016 in the Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Buzzards Bay.

She was the widow of the late Lee K. Stephens who died in 2005 and the daughter of the late Antonio and Tomasina (Servello) Cristello.

She was born in Cambridge and lived in Watertown before moving to Onset.

Mrs. Stephens was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Onset where she was also a Eucharistic Minister and recipient of the Marian Medal.

She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Gerard Simoneau of Plymouth; a daughter, Elizabeth D. Wallace of Hampton NH; 5 grandchildren, Michael J. Wallace, III, Adriane M. Wallace, Gregory G. Simoneau, Kevin R. Simoneau and Justin A. Simoneau; 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
