Don't Trash Wareham will continue its COASTSWEEP beach cleanups on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 to noon at Little Harbor Beach (rain date 9/25). Then on Saturday, October 1 we will meet on the Pier and proceed to clean Onset and Shell Point beaches.

According to the Ocean Conservancy, 80% of all ocean pollution enters from the land. Currently, 46,000 pieces of plastic exist for every square mile of ocean, equaling billions of pounds. It is so important to keep our beaches clean so litter and debris don't enter our waters.
