Long time Florist, Sharon “Jane” Monteiro, owner of Always in Bloom Flower & Gift Shoppe, located at 454 Wareham Road in Marion, will be holding a Valentine's fundraiser in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham.

By mentioning the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham, 10 percent of all Valentine's orders placed between Thursday, February 10, and Sunday, February 13, will be donated to the Club. Order minimum is $25.00 and is for fresh flower arrangements only. The offer excludes delivery charges, tax, chocolates and gift items. You will be sharing the love with your Valentine and with the children served by the Boys & Girls Club.

Monteiro's mother, Barbara Sullivan, is director of the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham and welcomes the fundraiser as a way to help families served by the Club.

“Our after-school program is only $400 for the entire school year, yet many of the working families we serve struggle to make payments,” Sullivan explained. Youth ages 7 to 13 receive homework help, have access to and supervision on computers, can participate in various physical activities (basketball is a favorite), and there is a game room, arts and crafts, and various instructional programs and special projects. “This fundraiser will aid some of those families so their children can continue to benefit from all the Club has to offer.”
