Monday, February 21 through Friday, February 25 is "Waffle Week at the Nook, to benefit the Onset Youth Center.

The Breakfast Nook, located at 3147 Cranberry Highway, will take $2 off of each waffle plate sold, and will donate the difference to the Onset Youth Center organization.

The youth center was started in the 1950s and was last fully operating in 1986, when the organization attempted to renovate the building, and instead found that it was no longer habitable. The 17 Tenth Street building was demolished, and now the organization is raising money for building materials for the construction of a new building.
