Wareham hockey falls to Medway High

The Wareham High School varsity hockey team fell to the Medway High School Mustangs during the first playoff round of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament on Monday, February 28. The Vikings scored one goal to the Mustangs' six at the CDL Arena in Raynham.
Scoring Wareham's only goal was Justin Sumner, during the second period. He was assisted by Kevin McCarthy.
The 26-seed Vikings had a regular season record of nine wins and 11 losses, compared to 7-seed Medway's 11 wins, 3 losses, and one tie.
