Eileen T. Gove, 66, of Monument Beach, Bourne, passed away with her family at her side on Feb. 26, at her sister’s home in Taunton. Eileen was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary C. (Williams) Gove. She graduated from Bishop Cassidy High School in 1968 and graduated from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing in 1971. As a registered nurse, Eileen worked at Tobey Hospital in Wareham from 1980 until her retirement in 2015. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her children: Christopher Smith and his wife Heather or Bourne, Mary Jarmusz and her husband Scott of New York, Laurie Cunningham and her husband John of Bourne and Todd Smith and his wife Lynn of Mashpee. She was the sister of Carol Hutchins and her husband Tom of Middleboro and Peggy Mazzoleni and her husband Mike of Taunton. She was also survived by nine grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Eileen’s funeral will be held on Thursday, March 2, at 9:30 a.m. from the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center St., Wareham, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint John the Evangelist Church 841 Shore Road, Pocasset, MA 02559. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in South Monument, Cemetery, County Road, Monument Beach, Bourne.
