Constance Winberg Dickson, 87

Constance Winberg Dickson, 87, of Middleboro, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Winthrop Winberg and the late Hugh Dickson.

Born in Providence, RI, to the late Robert E. and Florence H. Marsden, she lived most of her life in Middleboro and Wareham. She and her husband owned Win’s Camera and Card Shop in Wareham for over 35 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, an avid golfer with 7 holes in one, skied all over New England and Europe, and loved boating in Buzzards Bay. She was a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren compete.

Her love for life carried her from the ocean waves to the mountain peaks. Connie loved her golf course home in Hilton Head Island, SC, with her husband Hugh. She will always be remembered for her kind compassionate nature, and was loved by all who came to know her. Her smile was her trademark.

She is survived by her four children: Dianne Beaton and her husband Doug of Sandwich, Paul Winberg and his wife Patty of Middleboro, Donna Rhodes and her husband Bill of Wareham, Jean Mitchell and her husband Tim of Raynham; and three step children, Mark Dickson, Ann Brown and her husband Doug and John Dickson and his wife Camille. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Connie is also survived by her brother Robert E. Marsden Jr. and her sister Anne Bernard. She is predeceased by her sister Leila Savas, her brother John Marsden and her grandsons Jeffrey and Gregory Rhodes.

Connie’s funeral service was held at the Central Congregational Church in Middleboro on March 2nd.
