State Police on Monday morning arrested a 33-year-old woman in Wareham who was allegedly driving a stolen car.

Dave Procopio, director of Media Communications for Massachusetts State Police, said a trooper from the Bourne Barracks on patrol was alerted to a LoJack signal for a 2016 Honda Accord that had been stolen. LoJack is a tracking system designed to help police locate stolen vehicles.

Several other troopers responded to assist in tracking the stolen car, which was found being driven on Cranberry Highway.

Troopers stopped the driver behind the former Mattress World store on Cranberry Highway. The driver, Jessica R. Baker of East Falmouth, was taken to the Bourne Barracks and booked.

The car’s owner, a 59-year-old East Falmouth man, was contacted and notified of his car’s recovery. The vehicle had been reported stolen in New Bedford.
