Pamela Drolette, 57
Pamela A. (Baxter) Drolette, 57, of Bourne, died March 29 at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Walter K. Drolette and the daughter of the late Howard C. and Pauline L. (Jacques) Baxter.
She was born in Brockton and lived in Wareham before moving to Bourne in 1970. She graduated from Bourne High School, Class of 1978.
Pamela worked as a caregiver and home health aid for the Visiting Nurse Association and later privately.
She loved her family and her dogs, Finley and Champ, going to the beach, shopping trips, movies, boating and cruises.
Survivors include her husband, Walter K. Drolette; two sons, Justyn Baxter and his wife Katherine and Dalton Baxter all of Bourne; two stepsons, Joseph Drolette and Thomas Drolette both of Bourne; two brothers, Dale Baxter of Mashpee and Michael Baxter of Florida; her granddaughter, Avery Baxter.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon in St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
