Adrienne Ethier, 42

Apr 13, 2017

Adrienne Marie Ethier, 42, with her angel wings, went back to heaven on April 11 to watch over the many family and friends whose lives she had touched throughout her short but impactful and memorable life.

She was born in Falmouth, Sept. 7, 1974, and because of complications during her birth, was severely mentally and physically handicapped. She was the most angelic, breathtaking, and beautiful baby and despite numerous struggles, and challenges she was stricken with. She defied all odds, filling our hearts and souls with her sweetness, tenderness, and beauty for 42 fragile years. She was adored and perfect, and her heavenly presence and sweet gentle smile will be painfully missed by all who were blessed to know her. The legacy of her fragile life and the unconditional love that she gave to us were the most valuable, important, and meaningful lessons we could ever learn.

She is back in heaven now, watching over her adoring and devoted mother and father, Robert and Linda (D’Angelo) Ethier of Bourne, her dedicated and loving brothers, John Ethier and Michael Ethier of Bourne and Cape Coral, Florida. Her sister and best friend, Shannon Ethier and her fiancé Drew Lonergan and her precious nieces and nephews; Eric, Harbour, Calla and Chandler of Sagamore Beach, who are carrying on her legacy of kindness, peace and her gentle spirit.

Adrienne was adored by her maternal grandparents, Mary and Anthony D’Angelo of Cape Coral, Florida and predeceased in death by her paternal grandparents; Joseph, Polly and Gertrude Ethier and Laura and John Santangelo. She will be remembered and loved forever by her many incredible aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 14, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28), Wareham from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment immediately following at Agawam Cemetery, Wareham, ending with a celebration of Adrienne’s beautiful life at her family home in Buzzards Bay.
