The Gleason Family YMCA will host the annual Armed Forces Day 5K Road Race on Saturday, May 20 at 9 a.m. in Onset. The race start and finish will be at the Onset Village Pier and awards are given to the top three overall male and female runners.

Awards are also presented to the top three finishers both male and female in the following age categories: 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Registration is $25 for adults, $15 for children 14 and under, and veterans and military with valid military ID is discounted to $20. Registration can be done online at Runreg.com, at the Gleason Family YMCA Welcome Center 33 Charge Pond Road Wareham, or on race day starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Onset Village Pier.

Registration fees increase to $30 and $17 after April 28.

Refreshments will be served while race results are tallied and after the awards ceremony there will be raffles for race participants on site.
