The fifth annual Lazy Lobster road race will return to Wareham on Sunday, June 18.

The event will include a 10-mile race, 5-mile race and a kids fun run. All the proceeds for the event go to myTeam Triumph, a program that offers athletic ride-alongs for children, teens, adults and veterans with disabilities who wouldn't be able to experience endurance events such as this.

The races will begin and end at Wareham Crossing, 2421 Cranberry Highway. The kids fun run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the 10 and 5-mile races will begin at 9 a.m.

Online registration will be open through June 14. After that, people may register at the starting line, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Registration for the 10-mile race is $45 through June 14 and $50 for race day registration. The 5-mile race is $35 through June 14 and $40 for race day registration. The kids fun run is $5 through June 14 and $5 for race day registration.

The virtual runner 5-miler is $45 registration and the 10-miler is $55 registration.

Virtual runners will run either race on any course of their choosing in the area they live. Race organizers will mail shirts, medals and other race swag prior to race day. Virtual runners will be entered into their own raffle prizes.
