Carol Heselton, 78
Carol A. (Demers) Heselton, 78, of West Wareham, died June 11 in Tobey Hospital. She was the wife of Donald E. Heselton, Sr. and the daughter of the late Warren and Sabina (Prusick) Demers.
She was born in Boston and lived in West Wareham for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Heselton worked as a waitress at Vel’s Restaurant for many years before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed puzzles and word find books.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Heselton, Sr.; two sons, Donald E. Heselton, Jr. and his wife Diane of E. Kingston, New Hampshire, and Brian C. Heselton of West Wareham; two daughters, Cynthia Moll and her husband Al of Madison, Alabama and Christal J. Johnson and her husband Barry of West Wareham; seven grandchildren, Tina King, Cathy Johnson, Aaron Heselton, Aric Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Cory Hesleton and Myles Heselton; 16 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Donna Heselton-Borisoff.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20 in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.
