Helaine LeFort, 72, of Wareham passed away July 23 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay.

Helaine was the daughter of Henry and Helen LeFort, of Wareham. She is survived by her brother, David LeFort and his wife, Leona, of Hanson and her niece, Amy LeFort, of Scituate. Also, her niece, Elizabeth LeFort, who passed in 2011.

Helaine loved helping and working at her church, The Wesley United Methodist Church of Wareham and was an active member of the Emblem Club for many years. She was an avid animal lover, especially her beloved cats.

A private gravesite service was held. In lieu of flowers, send donations to The Wesley United Methodist Church in Wareham in Helaine’s memory.
