Mary C. Soule, 76, Pediatric nurse

Mary C. (Worcester) Soule, 76, of Wareham, formerly of Bridgewater, died January 15, 2010 at home. She was the widow of the late George H. Soule and the daughter of the late Edward C. and Eva (Naughton) Worcester.

She was born in Boston and lived in Avon and Bridgewater before moving to Wareham in 1988.  Mrs. Soule graduated from Avon High School. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Southeastern Massachusetts University and received a Master's Degree from Assumption College.

Mrs. Soule worked as a registered nurse specializing in pediatric care. She worked at Lakeville Hospital, Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton and Early Intervention in Plymouth.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.  She enjoyed traveling, gardening, the beach and bird watching.

Survivors include her children: Mary McGlone and her husband, Timothy, of Somerset, James Soule and his wife Connie, of Fall River, Michael Soule, and his wife Joanne, of Easton, Mitch Soule and his wife Georgina, of Rochester, Mark Soule and his wife Marie, of Alexandria, VA and Matt Soule and his wife Tammy, of Plymouth; two brothers, Edward Worcester and his wife Marie, of Paris, ME, and Richard Worcester and his wife Gerrie, of Plymouth; 17 grandchildren, Christopher Soule, Shannon Tousignant, Corinne Henry, Timothy McGlone, Ryan McGlone, Jessica, Amanda, Matthew, Meghan, Douglas, Derrick, Zeke and Dylan Soule, Jennifer Carvalho, Nichole White, Nicholas and Alyssa Soule; 8 great grandchildren, Alexander and Allison Tousignant, Emily Henry, Ryan and Julie McGlone, Chloe McGlone, Sarah Carvalho, and Ethan Sliney; many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her son, George "Jos" Soule.

Her funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte.28), Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
