One person suffered minor injuries after crashing a boat into a moored vessel off Swifts Beach Sunday evening.

According to the Wareham Department of Natural Resources, the operator of the first boat was the only person involved in the crash, which occurred at approximately 8 p.m.

The victim was transported to shore for treatment by Wareham EMS. Both boats were hauled out by TowBoatUS Cape Cod/Plymouth due to damage sustained during the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the Massachusetts Environmental Police.
