Wareham residents to star in dramatic production, library fundraiser

This year's annual Wareham Library Foundation-sponsored dramatic play will be “The _urloined Letter,” a play by Todd Wallinger and performed by some of Wareham’s notable residents.

The production is Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Redmen Hall, 758 Main St. Appetizers, desserts and a cash bar start at 7 p.m.

The main characters of the film-noir spoof are detective Nick Bullitt, played by Wareham Selectman Peter Teitelbaum, and Trouble Maecker, played by Don’t Trash Wareham’s Mary Bruce.

Other cast members include Wareham Harbormaster Garry Buckminster, local performer Jackson Gillman, library director Michael Carlozzi, children's librarian Marcia Hickey, WCTV's Queen Banda and more.

Tickets are $25 and are on sale at the Main and Spinney Branch libraries, the Gallery Consignment Shoppe on Main Street or from the actors.
