Wareham's Paige Fehskens finishes 6th in NCAA East Regional race

Led by sophomore Paige Fehskens of Wareham, the Bentley University women’s cross country team finished sixth among 25 teams during the NCAA Division II East Regional on Nov. 4 at the Audubon Golf Course.

Bentley, with a score of 234, missed the top five by 42 points. At the top of the standings, Assumption College edged Stonehill College by a single point, 45-46.

Fehskens, Bentley’s top runner in every race this season, missed earning All-Region honors by just a single place as she finished 26th with a 6,000-meter time of 24:14.9. A total of 173 runners competed in the annual event.
