WAREHAM, Mass. — Southcoast Health today announced that Wareham’s Diane O’Brien has been named its 2017 Volunteers of the Year for Tobey Hospital.

“We are fortunate to have over 500 volunteers who tirelessly help care for our patients in many different ways, and our four Volunteers of the Year exemplify that generous spirit and commitment,” said Jack Dresser, Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of Southcoast Health, who oversees volunteer services.

O’Brien has been volunteering since January. Her primary role is as a Patient Care Representative, and she also greets visitors at the Patient Information Desk.
