Patricia A. “Patty” Donahue, 69, of Wareham, died Jan. 4 at her home unexpectedly. She was the wife of Gerry W. Donahue.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Carlton F. and Mary Elizabeth (Correio) Oldham. Mrs. Donahue worked for many years as a waitress at Vel’s Restaurant in West Wareham. She retired in 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Gerry W. Donahue; her daughters, Kim Donahue of Wareham, and Tiffany Donahue Hebert of Buzzards Bay; her sisters, Donna Grant of Oak Bluffs, and Brenda Figueroa of Manhattan, New York; her uncle and aunt, Peter and Anna Correia of Carver; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28), Wareham at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
