The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a change of ownership of Wareham House of Pizza on Jan. 9.

The restaurant, located at 131 Marion Road, has had the same owners for 45 years. The new owner, Neal Rodrigues, was at the Selectmen meeting and said he’s been in the business for 20 years.

“I plan on keeping it exactly the same,” he said. The previous owners will be at the restaurant for the next week so customers can go visit them.

“It’s been emotional for them,” Rodrigues said. “People have been going there their entire childhood.”
