Sylvania J. (Murdock) Rivas, 43, of Fairhaven formerly of Wareham, passed away Jan. 5 at Saint Luke’s Hospital. She was born in Wareham the daughter of Kathleen (Murdock) Ferrer of West Wareham and Dana Sequeira Sr. of Buzzards Bay. She attended Wareham Public Schools and most recently worked as a clerk for the Hess Fuel, Co. She loved her family and friends.

She was the mother of Jarden Murdock, Jannessa Rivas, Sotero Rivas, Jr. and Ma ‘Laura Rivas all of West Wareham. She was the sister of Dana Sequeira Jr., Jennifer Sequeira, Tracey Murdock, Stephanie Delgado, Steven Francisco and Nicole Rakoski-Calvin. She was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
