Wareham Middle School dance gets 'glowing' reviews

Jan 20, 2018

Wareham Middle School seventh graders were lit on Friday night with the annual glow dance, providing splashes of neon colors, face paint and glow sticks for all.

This is the third annual glow dance for the grade, said Carla Troupe, treasurer of the Wareham Middle School PTA.

"They just love the whole blackout idea," Troupe said.

The PTA invested in lights, glowing face paint and glow decorations. They told the kids to wear white so they would glow more vibrantly. The students got into it, with glowing eyelashes, light-up shoes and paint-splattered clothes.

"It has the feel of a nightclub for kids," Troupe said.
