Robert V. Cosgrove, Jr., 68, of West Wareham, died Wednesday, Jan. 31 at his home after a long illness.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Marion L. (Krug) and Robert V. Cosgrove, Sr. A graduate of Brockton High School, Mr. Cosgrove was a homebuilder.

A summer resident of Wareham for many years, he has lived in West Wareham for the past 20 years.

He is survived by his brothers, Dennis Cosgrove of Wareham, Brian Cosgrove of Waterford, Connecticut, Barry C. Cosgrove of West Wareham and Joseph Cosgrove of Marion; his aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Lawrence Eyre of Sacramento, California, and five cousins.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
