The Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 74 High St., will host a Mother’s Day sign-making event on April 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church. This kid-friendly event will allow participants to make either a 4- by 12-foot sign for $25 or a 4- by 24-foot sign for $35 for moms.

Pre-order signs in advance by going online and visiting the church's Facebook page three weeks before the event. Proceeds from the event will benefit the church, its outreach programs and community services.
