Community event deadline approaching

The Wareham Community Events Committee will review applications for the 2018 season on May 21. Award amounts will be determined at that time. Applications received after May 21 will be considered only if funds are still available.

Information about the application process is available in the Selectman’s office at Town Hall, located at 54 Marion Road, or online at www.wareham.ma.us. Click on the “forms and documents” tab on the homepage. Links to download the documents will be under the “Community Events Committee” section.

The Wareham Community Events Committee supports programs developed by nonprofit or town-sponsored organizations. This financial assistance is intended to help start and establish an event, but the goal is for the event to become self-sustaining. For more information, call Linda Gay at 508-295-9039.
