A 30-year-old New Bedford woman has died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 195 west in Wareham Tuesday morning. State Police from the Bourne Barracks responded at approximately 10:50 a.m.

Preliminary investigation by Trooper Nicolas Lorenco indicates that Jacquelyn Perry was driving a 2001 Honda Civic when, for reasons still under investigation, the car veered off the left side of the roadway. Perry then over corrected to the right. The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway and rolled over. Perry was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section and Troopers assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

State Police were assisted at the scene by Massachusetts Department of Transportation and Wareham EMS.
