John P. Rodrigue, Jr., 32, of East Wareham, died unexpectedly May 25 at home. He was the son of John P. Rodrigue, Sr. and the late Deborah M. (Gleason) Rodrigue.

He was born in Newton and lived in East Wareham for most of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School.

John worked as a chef at the 99 Restaurant in Wareham.

He enjoyed football and hockey and was a huge fan of Tom Brady.

Survivors include his father, John P. Rodrigue, Sr. of East Wareham; three sisters, Katelyn Rodrigue of West Wareham, Shelby Rodrigue of East Wareham, and Kimberly Rodrigue of East Wareham; his grandmother, Marilyn (Lane) Putney of Dedham; a niece, Eden Rodrigue and his girlfriend, Andrea Cintron of Wareham.

His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 1, from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
