Roberta L. (Pires) Hill, 60, of New Bedford, died June 4 in St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford. She was the wife of Robert W. Hill and the daughter of the late Maurice P. and Dorothy B. (Gracia) Pires.

She was born in Wareham and lived there for many years before moving to New Bedford. She graduated from Wareham High School.

Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Hill of New Bedford; a son, Robert W. Hill, Jr. and his fiancé, Heather Kelley of New Bedford; a sister, Nadine Andrade of San Diego, California; a brother, Allen Pires of San Diego, California; three grandchildren, Aryanna, Jordanna, and Lailanni; two step-children, Stacy Muska and Cheryl Muse both of New Hampshire.

Her funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
