Wareham Garden Club awards 3 scholarship

The Wareham Garden Club has given three scholarships to students entering the fields of biology, veterinary medicine and health sciences.

The students are all residents of Wareham. Scholarships are available to students who will study: horticulture, agriculture, biology, earth sciences, health sciences, marine sciences, conservation or environmental studies.

Scholarship winners are:

Elizabeth Griffith, a graduate of Wareham High School, who is currently studying biology at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

Lillian Healy, a graduate of Sturgis Charter School in Hyannis, who is studying health sciences at the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Elizabeth St. Germaine, a graduate of Wareham High School, who has a degree in marine biology from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and is currently studying veterinary medicine at Western College of Health Sciences.
