Free movies at the Band Shell begin
The Onset Bay Movie Company kicked off its 15th season of Thursday evening movies at the Onset Band Shell this week with "How to Train Your Dragon."
The six-week series features family-friendly films. The 8 p.m. movies are free to watch, with popcorn and drinks available for purchase to help support the group's efforts.
The Onset Bay Movie Company pays roughly $300 for the rights to screen each movie. It is funded through the Onset Bay Association, Community Events Committee, donations, and from viewer purchases on movie nights.
