Heavy rain prompted officials to close part of Cranberry Highway in East Wareham on Saturday, Aug. 4 due to flooding.
A flash flood warning was issued earlier in the day for both Bristol and Plymouth counties around 2:30 p.m. by the National Weather Service that remained in affect until 5:15 p.m.
Wareham has received over an inch of rain so far and another quarter of an inch is expect to fall tonight.
