Baseball themed day at Wareham Crossing is a home run with Gatemen fans

Jul 17, 2011

Wareham Crossing transformed into a baseball lover’s dream as fans of the Wareham Gatemen flocked to the shopping center for a day of family fun on July 14.

Gatemen players signed autographs for their fans and even posed for a picture or two. The children were able to flex their pitching muscle with the radar pitching machine.

In addition to the meet-and-greet with the players, there were plenty of activities throughout the day, including the very popular photo booth where children could dress in an official Gatemen uniform and have their picture snapped in a variety of poses.

The kids were treated to a baseball-themed lunch consisting of Fenway Franks and cotton candy.

Many stores in the mall offered their support for the event, including AT&T, Elements, Coastal Orthodontics, Old Navy, Verizon Wireless, and Friendly’s.
